Villa Valletta

Another great weekend spent at Chris’ place, would very much recommend if you are looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The accommodation was very spacious and clean. It had everything we could think of in there. It is perfect for families escape. The swimming pool and the garden/ patio area was perfect for the evenings after sightseeing. The hosts were very polite and accommodating.

My 2 week visit to Malta and my stay at Villa Valletta has been incredible. The Villa was the perfect spot for my guests and I and I’ll be sure to lock it in for my next visit to the island. Many thanks to Chris and Josette for looking after us.

We had a really nice time in this beautiful villa. It is equipped with all the necessary things you need, the communication with the owner was great and there is really nothing to complain about.

We only stayed there for 2 days, but we had a nice stay in Chris’s house, Chris was a very friendly host, enabling easy check-in and check-our with very clear indications. We found the decoration of the house a little old-fashioned, but the house is very large, with bathrooms for each room, everything was very clean and the pool and the garden are really great. Very easy parking in the street.

Superb stay with friends, perfect for a 4-5 day stay. Each room has its own bathroom, the pool is top and the place is friendly.

We spent a very nice week in Chris’ villa. The villa is not “luxurious” as mentioned in the description but it has everything that is needed to host 8 persons very comfortably, and off-season the price was very good. The communication with the owner was clear and timely. The villa is located in the outskirts of Zejtun, with a beautiful view on the rising sun over the fields. The location is not central but then nothing is very far away in Malta (we had a car, not sure how effective the buses are). Bonus: collecting the fresh eggs every morning from the hens will stay a highlight of the trip!

Great place to go and relax for a few days. We had a lovely time by the pool in brilliant weather. Plenty of space around the house, and extremely close to the airport and local towns. I would recommend it to anyone.

First time in a villa but not the last! This is a great villa for a family holiday, the pool was a major feature of our holiday and my grandchildren loved it as much as we did. The owners are brilliant to deal with and were very responsive to a text or email The one downside is having to put coins into a meter for the aircon , this needs to be changed to a card system as it’s not easy getting 15-20 euros per day to feed the machine That was my only bug bear Otherwise its was truly lovely

We booked, as a party of 10, to stay in Blueberry Hills but due to building works next door, advised well in advance, we agreed to stay at Villa Valetta so the review is for that property. Villa Valetta had 4 bedrooms rather than 5 (not as ideal) and a bit smaller but we were offered a discount, and owners very helpful. The villa is located between Marsakala and Marsaxlokk and we liked the fact that it was away from the main tourist idea, and within 20-25 minutes walk of both fishing villages, which we liked. We also caught the local buses to visit other places; so easy to get around. The villa itself was lovely, with a small swimming pool - a tad chilly as it was April but we used it - and we had fresh eggs every morning. All but one of the rooms were en-suite with an additional bathroom on the landing and one downstairs. The villa was comfortable (other than hard pillows) and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We stayed for 5 days and wished we had booked for a week, and have come home with lots of fun memories! There were three families and all of us would recommend staying here and would seriously consider coming back another time but definitely to a slight bigger villa. Thank you

Nice place to stay. Clean, modern house. Excellent location to explore the island. Only a walk away from nice restaurants and fresh bread. We stayed with 8 adults with all our own bathroom, nice. Good and friendly contact with the owner. Would I go back a second time? YES

Our second visit to Villa Valletta and had another great stay. Kids loved the pool and collecting eggs for breakfast. Great location for us in a quiet rural setting.

Would definitely use this Villa again. We were an extended family from toddlers to grandparents and it suited us perfectly. 6 adults 3 kids. The price was fine for what we got and would recommend it as good value. We went in April so found the pool temperature challenging but can see that the swimming pool would be fantastic asset as the summer temperatures rise. A great feature for later in the year As an extended family of 6 adults and three children we hired 3 small cars and found that parking space outside was great. Malta is not the place for a big car. At night it was relatively quiet and we all slept well. At first we thought that maybe we should have rented nearer to the city centre but as soon as we saw how busy and built up some of the other areas were we were glad to have rented this location. Sitting by the pool we frequently relaxed listening to the birds in the nearby trees. Easy to drive to Valetta etc . though plan a full day to allow time if you drive up to Gozo. It has a Lidl's a few minutes drive away plus a slightly better but dearer supermarket (Lasco) a little nearer so getting supplies by car was easy plus the drive to and from airport was shorter (never once heard a plane). We had a trivial problem of our own making as after the flights etc we were very tired and did not listen properly to the check-in instructions and forgot how to switch on the overnight water heating. Chris answered our questions immediately.”

The house was beautiful and in good condition. Good with the number of toilets. The pool was kept very well and worked for our needs. We are very pleased and would not hesitate to go there again.

We had a wonderful time in this gorgeous Villa and would come back anytime! The kids loved the swimming pool and collecting the fresh laid eggs everyday!

Had an amazing time at this villa with family, it was very quiet and peaceful and the pool and garden area are just beautiful. We will visit one of your villas again for sure :-)

Villa Valletta is exactly as described and was very clean and well maintained. Customer service is at the top of the owners list, Chris was very welcoming and greeted us with a smile even though he had had to wait up until 2.30-3.00am as our flight had been delayed. A nice little touch to this accommodation is the Chickens at the end of the garden, there was a fight most mornings as to who would collect the eggs for breakfast! Would we sty here again? Yes, definitely :)

We had the most wonderful holiday while staying in this villa. The villa is spacious and has all you need to live comfortably in luxury for 2 weeks or even more!. It has a TV, Wifi and all modern kitchen appliances. We used the air conditioning for the whole holiday as was August after all!. The villa is located in the most beautiful and peaceful village setting. It is just minutes away from the main roads leading to all main towns. We drove to Valletta a lot during our stay which only took 20 mins by car. Marsaskala town is beautiful at night, with many pubs and reasturants serving both British and Medetarranean food. There is a lovely shop open till late that serves the most wonderful pancakes! The swimming pool in the villa was just delightful and the pool boy came each week to maintain the pool. In the very high temperatures of August, the pool was essential!. The airport is a 10-15 minute drive from the villa and car hire is essential! We hired cars from Joe's rent a car, who were excellent. We have now stayed in 5 of (Chris's) the owners villa's, and are so very happy with the service we received. Chris is on hand literally 24-7 by mobile phone for any questions or information you require, and really does make you feel so welcome. We now stay in Chris's villa's every year and cant wait till our next visit to our second home that is Malta.
